Triton Group - Solar PV Installation

43.16 kWp

Triton Group is one of the UK's leading security and facilities management companies, operating from their headquarters at Thorp Arch near Wetherby in West Yorkshire. Founded in 2003, Triton provides SIA-approved security services, CCTV, facilities management, and specialist construction site security to major businesses across the country - including household names such as British Steel, DFS, Taylor Wimpey, and The Fragrance Shop.

With a busy office, Triton approached Associated Clean Technologies to design a solar PV system that would reduce their electricity costs and support their commitment to lowering the company's carbon footprint.

The building's slate roof required a specialist mounting approach. ACT specified Esdec mounting hardware in combination with Genius Roof Solutions SolarFlash, a system specifically engineered for slate roofs that allows panels to be securely fixed without damaging the existing roof covering. This enabled us to install 97 solar panels with a 50% overlap design, making the most of the available roof space and increasing the system's overall capacity.

The resulting 43.16 kWp system features SolarEdge optimisers and inverters for panel-level performance management, and is expected to generate approximately 35.98 MWh of clean energy each year. Since the installation was completed in July 2024, the system has been covering around 45% of Triton's electricity requirements, a significant reduction for a business with consistent daytime demand.

A Huge Thank You to Associated Clean Technologies Limited.

We are thrilled here at Triton Group to announce that our new solar panels have been successfully installed. Going green and reducing our carbon footprint is always a top priority for us. This installation is a significant step towards a more sustainable future.

Thank you, Associated Clean Technologies, for your exceptional service and commitment to clean energy!
