This East Keswick project came to us through a recommendation from one of our previous customers. The homeowners were about to begin a major renovation of their property, starting with a full re-roof, and wanted solar to be part of the plan from day one rather than something added later.

Working alongside M&S Roofing, we installed an integrated solar PV system at the same time as the new roof went on. Associated Clean Technologies fitted 24 all-black solar panels using an in-roof mounting system, so the panels sit flush within the roof covering in place of tiles. Coordinating the two trades meant the roof and solar were completed together, giving a seamless finish that suits the renovated home.

The system is expected to generate approximately 7,500 kWh of energy each year.

To get the most from that generation, we paired the panels with EcoFlow inverters and 30 kWh of battery storage. This gives the household a substantial store of solar energy to draw on throughout the evening and overnight, reducing their reliance on the grid. We also installed an EcoFlow PowerPulse 2 EV charger.

Our installation took place in 2025, and the renovation work has continued around it since. With the house now complete, we recently returned to see the finished property, and it’s a great example of how solar, storage and EV charging can be designed into a renovation from the very start.
