The Bostock Building is the latest addition to the Springfield Mills site in Farsley, Leeds - a brand-new development by Gaunts Commercial Properties that extends the footprint of one of Associated Clean Technologies most successful commercial solar projects.

Having already delivered a 275 kWp installation across three existing buildings at Springfield Mills, ACT returned to the site to equip this new-build unit with its own dedicated solar PV system. The result is 203 solar panels producing a 92.37 kWp array, expected to generate an additional 70.48 MWh of clean energy per year for the site.

As with the original installation, the system features SolarEdge Technologies inverters and optimisers with Esdec mounting, maintaining consistency across the site and allowing seamless integration with the existing energy infrastructure.

This project reflects the kind of long-term client relationship ACT values most. When Gaunts Commercial Properties saw the results from their initial installation - with tenants routinely consuming 80–93% of the solar energy generated on weekdays - extending the system to cover the new building was a straightforward decision.

The Bostock Building now benefits from the same reduced energy costs and improved sustainability credentials as the rest of Springfield Mills.
